Man Eaters camp is an exclusive lodge comprising of 31 fully furnished ensuite tents ideally located facing Tsavo river on the boarder of Tsavo national park.  

The luxury tented camp has ensuite family friendly tents, with king size double beds and a single bed ideal for small families. All the tents are well ventilated, spacious, overlooking the Tsavo River. Giving you a chance to enjoy the uninterrupted views from your own private balcony.

You will be able to spot the wandering families of elephants which frequent the opposite banks of the river, as well as the resident crocodile, hippo and occasional gazelles and zebras.


Rustically decorated, the Man Eaters Camp Lounge area has great views of both the rock pool and Tsavo river, it is a wonderful place to relax and unwind, either while waiting to go off on your game drive or after a long day in the park exploring Tsavo. The river has good wildlife visiting throughout the day, there is a good chance to see big game like elephants, hippo and crocodiles near the river whilst you relax in the comfort of the camp on the opposite bank perhaps with a cocktail from the Simba mbili bar.

Sun downer pizzeria: the newly opened sun downer pizzeria area is also a fantastic addition. A deliciously romantic experience overlooking Tsavo river and the Ngulia mountain range in the distance, the sun downer is a perfect spot to end the day around a cosy bonfire.


At just over 21,000km sq. Tsavo is the largest National Park in Kenya, and one of the largest in the world. Because of its size the park was split into two, Tsavo East & Tsavo West. One of the best parks in the region to view elephants, Tsavo also has a very large variety of wildlife backdropped against one of the most unique landscapes in East Africa. One can see the Yatta Plateaux, Lugard Falls, Mdanda rock in Tsavo east, and in Tsavo west one can see Ngulia Mountain Range, Shetani Lava Flow, Mzima Springs, plus Kilimanjaro in the distance.


Easy to reach by road, the lodge is only 5 hours drive from Nairobi and 3 hours drive from Mombasa. Located 1km off the main highway near Manyani Gate for tsavo east, and tsavo west river gate. The SGR Nairobi terminus station is 320km from Voi station and 145km from Mombasa station, Man eaters camp is a further 50km from the Voi station by road and transfers can be arranged. Game drives into Tsavo can be booked directly at the reception upon arrival or in advance.
